DentaTabs contain Malic Acid, a carboxylic acid that is naturally present in many common fruits and Cetyl Pyridinium Chloride (CPC), an anti-microbial agent commonly used in mouthwash. Working together, these patented ingredients have been shown to reduce the formation of dental plaque, calculus and gingivitis as well as to improve pet breath, keeping your pet's mouth clean and healthy.

Clinically Proven

This patented, clinically tested combination of Malic Acid and CPC has been proven to reduce tartar, dental plaque and gingivitis as well as significantly improve pet breath.  Independent research conducted at Indiana University School of Dentistry has indicated that CPC reduces oral malodor by as much as 50% and the combination of malic acid and CPC reduces calculus by as much as 54% and plaque and gingivitis by 18-20%.

An additional test conducted by the Department of Oral Microbiology at the Indiana University School of Dentistry was performed to determine the effect of DentaTabs on representative oral microbes from dogs and cats.  The results indicated that DentaTabs significantly inhibited the growth of all microbes tested.  The oral bacteria included Streptococcus mutans, Actinomyces Viscosus, Porphyromonas gingivalis and Porphyromonas asaccharolyticus which are commonly found in dogs and cats and are known to contribute to dental plaque, gingivitis and bad breath.

Directions

Dissolve one tablet in eight ounces of fresh drinking water.  Tablet takes approximately five minutes to dissolve.  Provide additional fresh water as needed.  For maximum effectiveness, use one tablet in fresh water every day.
